What Is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that helps children learn better behaviors. It is used to help kids with autism by stopping bad behaviors and teaching good ones. One important goal of ABA is to help kids listen and follow directions. If a child is told to do something and they don’t listen, ABA helps them learn to listen and follow instructions. We use different ways in ABA to do this. We also help kids learn to talk and do everyday things by themselves. ABA uses rewards to help kids do more good things and fewer bad things.
